Creekstone Energy has signed a long-term solar lease for roughly 13,000 acres of Utah state trust lands in Millard County, and received county zoning approval for utility-scale solar on the first phase. Over the next 18 months, Creekstone plans to build more than 1 GW of solar generation to help power its Delta Gigasite, a large hyperscale AI data center development adjacent to the leased land. The project is intended to co-locate renewable generation with the data center campus while generating revenue that benefits Utah public education, with broader power and data center deliveries targeted to begin in 2027.
